    Seminars and Workshops at FSU Designed to Help Students

    The Office of Career Services at Fayetteville State University continues to enhance the career development program by providing an array of workshops and seminars.  The workshops and seminars are provided to enhance how students present themselves for interviews, career fairs and other professional opportunities.

    In the past year, the office has implemented the following:

    1.       NACE LINK (Bronco Career Link) - The NACElink Network, the result of an alliance among the National Association of Colleges and Employers, DirectEmployers Association, and Symplicity Corporation, is a national recruiting network and suite of web based recruiting and career services automation tools serving the needs of colleges, employers and job candidates.

    2.       Interview Stream - A premier provider of video interviewing solutions.

    3.       The Career Services Clothes Closet - discussed in detail in the attached video

    4.       Re-established a relationship with the National Urban Leagues' Black Executive Exchange Program; having provided one student with an internship on Wall Street (summer 2009) and three students participating in Leadership BEEP (Atlanta, GA - Summer 2009); a week long intensive leadership conference focusing on career development and internship opportunities.  Three additional students will attend the conference in summer 2010.
