At the oldest public university in the United States, we are grateful to the individuals, corporations, and foundations that help to create and sustain the extra margin of excellence for which our 17 campuses have become known.
President Tom Ross and his team, the UNC Board of Governors, the Chancellors of the UNC campuses and their blue ribbon teams of volunteer leaders and development staff make up the fundraising leadership of the University of North Carolina.
The Office of University Advancement offers professional development support for the 17 campus-based Advancement Offices of the University of North Carolina, helping to build capacity, create shared services and coordinate professional development for administrative and volunteer leadership. It also has responsibility for raising private funds for inter-institutional and University-wide priorities and for priorities of the President.
In addition, we put special emphasis on helping to increase efficiency and effectiveness of the university's smaller campus development programs, and bring together campus development leaders as part of the UNC Advancement Council.
The Office of University Advancement is led by Timothy Minor, Associate Vice President for Advancement. For information about philanthropic support at the University of North Carolina, contact him at firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling 919.962-4231.
