Create FRS Account

 

Purpose:  To ensure department properly creates accounts in the Financial Record System.

 

Documents Needed:  Fund Authority Document

 

Procedures:

 

Performed by Reporting Accountant and Department                 

 

                            1.  Prepare Fund Authority form

                            2.  Attach copy of grant award, trust instrument, legislation etc.

                            3.  Form and supporting documentation is reviewed by Reporting Accountant

                            4.  Reporting Accountant prepares FRS Account Create Forms

                            5.  Controller reviews/approves forms and supporting documentation prior to entry in FRS
